Nicholas J. Karney, DMD
Dr. Karney is originally from Buffalo, NY. He attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and stayed there to complete his residency in endodontics. In dental school, he received the Louis I. Grossman Award for the excellence in endodontic diagnosis and treatment. His research interest during residency included cyclic and torsional fatigue of rotary instruments, and his findings were presented at the American Association of Endodontists Annual Meeting in 2011. He was in practice in New York for a few years prior to moving out to the area in 2014. He has recently been assigned as an adjunct professor at the University of Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in the Department of Endodontics. He loves weightlifting, the outdoors, furniture repair and refinishing, playing the piano, and the mild, snow-free winters of Sonoma County!
